ADT Rotation:

Food & Nutrition:  Eat Well Plate, Safe working practices, range of practical skills sessions

Art:  Rainforest theme, introduction to work of artists, range of drawing/painting techniques.  Mixed media

Design & Technology:  Safe Workshop procedure and practise (Skateboard making), group work, problem solving and structure (Bridges)

Graphics ICT:  Use of TECHSOFT 2D Design, CAD – keyring design

Rotation:

Food & Nutrition:  Eat Well – healthy diet, range of practical sessions, covering both sweet and savoury

Art:  Portraits – based on celebrities, ICT to develop understanding of ‘colour theory’

Design & Technology:  multimedia ‘clock’ project, hand embroidery and sub printing, CAD/CAM (build on Year 7 Tech-soft skills), develop presentation and rendering skills, to work to a design brief and specification

Graphics ICT:  Use of ADOBE Photoshop, development of graphics for Album Covers and other packaging design

Rotation:

Design & Technology:  ‘Exciting Seating’ (Chairs), iterative design process, sketching and card modelling, analysis and evaluation, workshop prototype manufacture

Art (a):  Tone/Observational drawing, use of different media/techniques, increasingly complex ‘still life’

Art (b):  ‘Personal Possessions’, exploring mark-making and pattern, experimenting with collage and print making

Food & Nutrition:  Eat Well Nutrition 3, safety and food hygiene, practical sessions exploring ingredients from around the world
